This is Faller's ruin from 1951. It was hand-made out of plywood.

You can also find a picture of it in the Faller catalogue from 1951.

If you had mountains on your layout it was nice to feed your fantasy with this ruin high on a mountain.

When you climed the mountain you could take a rest in a wooden Alpine hut.

Faller also made this possible with model number 293 from 1952 . A very realistic model made from real wood.

The plastic figures are from Kibri made in 1956. They are 25 mm tall and difficult to find today.
